Abstract
Electronic bank fraud in Nigeria and its implication on bank performance. The researcher has identified the reasons, objective, significance of the bank fraud in fidelity bank lending and the problems which intercontinental bank and First Bank faced in the implementation of bank fraud in Nigeria. The research work also identified the bank fraud in the banking system, the factors influencing electronic bank fraud in Nigeria, it was noticed that banks fraud which stands as a remedy for financial sector stability has not increase the performance of banks. Primary and secondary, method of data collection were employed which include, distribution of questionnaires interview and observation. Data was presented and analyzed using simple percentage, while chi- square was used to interpret the hypothesis stated in chapter four the following finding were made. Bank fraud in Nigeria has no significant influence on the implication on the bank performance. E- banking has not moderated positively the level of fraud in Nigeria banking system. Finally, I recommend that banks fraud including intercontinental bank and first bank, make use of the three (3) is not important to aspect the business management. ...
