Abstract
Co-operative societies, a viable tool for creating investment opportunities in rural areas.  Investment serves as a pillar of welfare in society’s economy and hence seems to give the greatest course of concern.  Investment opportunity stands as a function of manufacturing, processing, craft and mining which involves the conversion of raw materials and finished consumable goods or intermediate or produce which aims at making profits to sustain the state of rural development and its corresponding economy.  However, it minimizes the risk of over dependence on external assistance and hence contributes to the rapid growth of the society and the nation at large seems.  It helps the nation to increase its foreign exchange earning and raves way even for employment which can result to rural socio-economic advancement....
