Abstract
This project work was aimed at the contributions of cooperative societies to the economic development. This work is focused on Oru-East local government of Imo State.  Farmer’s cooperative society in Oru-East has been facing a lot of challenges in insufficient food production, lack of technical and financial assistance or aids no training for most cooperative farmers over there.  Furthermore, no adequate marketing outlet for marketing of agricultural products.  Therefore this project work has come to them to make sure that all those problems of theirs are solved by providing them with a standard training to ensure that there is enough time devoted to the farm, right from the preparation stage to the harvesting period....
