Abstract
Newspaper in any given society do serve as a medium for informing, educating and entertaining the people but it is very difficult to feel the impact of government, individuals, or group effort in improving the present conditions of state-owned Newspaper media in Nigeria. Thus this study examines The production challenges of state owned Newspapers using Newsline Newspapers Minna, Niger state as a case study. The survey research method was used and hence, questionnaires were designed and administered. The findings showed clearly that those production problems actually affected Newsline. The study recommended among others that the government should provide adequate funds for state owned Newspapers organizations in order to solve the dicey situations they are facing....
