It is an open-ended program in which patients must be arranged around a set of time slot’T’ in order to meet with the attending doctor. Data gathering on the current system was analyzed to create a requirement definition for the improved scheduling system. The literature review was carried out to search the best approach that can help to solve the problem in the scheduling system. After the study, a web-based system that will counter the lapses faced in the existing medical appointment scheduling system was designed and implemented with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap (CSS framework) and JavaScript programming language at the frontend to ensure responsiveness for all devices and enhanced user experience. In addition, PHP programming language was used in developing the backend solution.
