Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate factor responsible for the high failure in S.S.C.E examination in Muktar Adnan day science Kano and government technical college Kano in Nassarawa local government area of Kano state. A background to the study along with the basic assumption. Related literature were intensively reviewed to serve as a lunch pad for the in chapter two 2, in the chapter three 3, the researchers design target and method to be used in and analyzing the data generated from the questionnaires distributed. The procedures for data collected was the used of questionnaire which were completed by the principals, the teachers and the students questionnaire while four of the questionnaires were not returning. Hence the result of the finding proved the following. While investigating these factors the principal’s responses reiterated that there is insufficient numbers of teaching staff in their schools. Students in average ability are always sent to teachers training colleges. This was revealed by the principals and seventy five percent of the teacher’s responses. Science and technical board must be blamed for this, because it is the body of which is responsible of the intake of new students in to the affected with school, never the less  the principals agreed that their schools that need quick attention, while also accused, the students are said to be lazy and not serious on their studies. ...
