Data were collected through administered questionnaire and a lot of literature by various scholars was reviewed by the researcher. The hypothesis was tested using simple percentage method, this is due to its simplicity. The findings of this research indicate that to improve management union relations, collective bargaining should be encouraged and put into practice as an avenue for resolving conflicting issues, regular payment of salaries and improvement of welfare policies would improve the relationship between management and union.
