The objective of the study is to examine the functions and importance of communication in an organization and to examine how communication can contribute to the maximum profit of a business organization. The researcher used survey method of research design is the most commonly used when dealing with human beings. Questionnaire was adopted as a result of survey method. The population of the study comprises the management and staff of the organization under study and the sample size 60 was determined using Tairo Yamani’s formula. And chi-square method was used to test the statement of hypothesis earlier formulated. On this note, the findings revealed that effective communication has a positive impact on efficiency of a business organization and that effective communication processes of all types are tools for successful management and effective communication has contributed to the achievement of maximum profit of a business organization.
