A study of First Bank Nigerian Plc, Lafia. For the purpose of this study, a survey design methodology was adopted. Data were collected from primary sources for the administration of questionnaires on respondents while secondary data were collected from the organization’s records fully documented, print media (news dailies, journals, textbooks and the internet). The target population for the study was the management and staff of First Bank Nigeria Plc, Lafia. A simple random sampling technique was adopted for the purpose of this study in order to select the sample size. Frequency distribution and simple percentages served as the main statistical tools employed in analyzing the data. Findings from the study revealed that computerization of the banking industry has contributed to the increase in bank efficiency and performance in terms of profit.
