The descriptive research design was used in this project. The total population for the study comprised three hundred and eighty (380) staff of the organization. One hundred and twenty (120) were chosen as the sample. Questionnaires were administered to the staff of Lokoja Local Government Area, Kogi State. The findings revealed that Job dissatisfaction affects workers' performance in Lokoja Local government s. It was also revealed that Staff motivation reduces job dissatisfaction in Lokoja Local Government. Thus, it was recommended that Government should provide workers with the needed facilities in order to enhance job performances in Lokoja local government.
