The materials used mostly consist of mild steel for the U-channel iron, grinding disc and galvanized sheet. For the feed hopper, The materials were selected based on cost, availability and ability to withstand applied forces. The machine can be used for grinding dry grains as well as wet grains 10kg of dry grains were grinded in 5 minutes and 10kg of wet grains in 2 minutes. The machine costs seventy-five thousand eight hundred naira to construct which is cheap compared to the cost of similar machines in the market.
