Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the Effect of Technological Advancement on the Job Performance of Office Manager. The study is significant in ensuring data on the effect of technological advancement on the job performance of office manager’s duties to the practitioners and will also help to drive out the inferiority complex on office managers. To direct the study 3 research questions were formulated. The research was carried out using a sample of 32 office managers in some selected institution in Owerri, Imo State namely: Umuagwo Polytechnic, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Alvan Ikokwu Federal College of Education. The main instrument used in data collection was questionnaires. The data collected were analyzed using percentage. From the analysis of the data collected, the following findings were made on how office managers are eager to learn how to operate sophisticated machines, from the findings the following recommendations were made: office managers will have basic knowledge on how to operate the sophisticated machines, management skills, communication skills and attend short curse and seminars organize by manufacturers of office machine.  ...
