The aim was to determine how access to care, physical environment, communication, and interpersonal relationship influenced patient satisfaction with emergency care. The outcome of the study was to help the hospital management come up with policies necessary to improve emergency services. The target population were the Emergency Units Clients i.e patients and their relatives. Sample size was sixty and six questionnaires were given out and retrieved. Research Hypotheses were tested using chi-square. Hypotheses 1 (Ho1) that says there is no significant relationship between gender and satisfaction with interpersonal relationships was accepted because the calculated value x² cal 4.3154 is less than table value x² table 20.277. Hypotheses 2 (Ho2) which says there is no significant relationship between the shift admitted and the satisfaction with the physical environment of the units was also accepted because the calculated value x² cal 2.1147 is less than the table value x² tab 23.5893. The study revealed that the majority of the clients were influenced and satisfied by the accessibility to emergency care, physical environment, communication and interpersonal relationship within the unit. However, there were only a small proportion of clients who expressed dissatisfaction. It is therefore recommended that the hospital management should open payment centers, pharmacy and side laboratories in the emergency units and ensure personnel are in them at all times.
