It informed the health officers on the understanding of healthcare workers regarding the anthropometrics of under 5 children. Among the objectives was to assess the level of knowledge of healthcare workers in Children Specialist Hospital and Okelele Comprehensive health care center on anthropometric assessment and to assess the practice of anthropometric assessment among healthcare workers in Children Specialist Hospital and Okelele Comprehensive Health Centre. Furthermore, to determine the perceived factors influencing the practice of health workers on anthropometric assessment in Children Specialist Hospital. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample healthcare workers in the study area. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 81 questionnaires were distributed out of which 74 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made health care workers should be motivated to practice anthropometric assessment in their place of work and adequate gathering of information on knowledge and practice on key factors influencing the practice of healthcare workers on anthropometric assessment.
