The study assessed the training and development process in the Securities and Exchange Commission and whether training has improved the employee’s performance. A structured questionnaire was designed and administered to collect data from the respondents and the result indicated that there is a positive relationship between training and performance. The study supports the fact that training and development are effective for both personnel and organizational success.
