Two (2) public junior Secondary schools were randomly selected in Area Council and a total of the hundred and twenty (120) respondents were randomly selected. A search instrument titled: effects of broken home on academic performance questionnaire (EBHAPQ) designed by the researcher was 4sed for data collection. Data obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistics which include the means and simple percentage.
