A case study of Ankpa Local Government, Questions were formulated and answers were provided through the various responses generated through questionnaires and analyzed through simple percentage statistical techniques. The study reveals that there are fewer women in political leadership positions in Kogi State, and these have a negative effect in the mobilization of women which the study reveal constitute more than half of the whole population of the country in nation building and the need to motivate and encourage them to take their pride of place in political leadership in the country.
