Abstract
This research project titled“Cooperative thrift and loan society of federal polytechnic Nekede cooperative thrift and loan society, Owerri, Imo state. The study was motivated by the necessity of requirement for the award of National Diploma in cooperative economics and management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede (FPNO) Owerri. It award at identifying the cause of federal polytechnic Nekede cooperative thrift and loan society in Owerri, Imo state. To solve the research problems both primary and secondary data were collected. The instruments used were questionnaires and oral interviews. In organizing and presenting data collected frequency, distributed tables, percentages were used, data analysis and interpretation gave the following findings, loan also disbursement, loan defaulters and recovery/repayment of loans.   ...
