Abstract
Back in the days, information is distributed and trusted from place to another by means of town criers. These criers shout at the top of their voices just to pass information within short distances. Over recent years, man has sought various means of communication which is easy and trees free. This research has given rise to various electrons gadgets with inbuilt amplifiers. These amplifiers are coupled to input and output transducer (microphones and speakers respectively). A microphone converts sound signal (speech) to an equivalent electric signal while the speaker converts electrical signal back to audible sound signal. The amplifier comes in between the microphone and speaker, it takes the electrical signal coming from the microphone, increases its amplitude and sends the amplified signals as output to the speaker. This project work is a public address system comprising of these three components (microphone, amplifier and speaker) coupled together as one device. ...
