The study, therefore, designed a simple charger with multiple resistors and capacitors to aid charging efficiency (fast charging). The model design constructed is capable of accepting any unit of current and convert it to very useful charges that are directly stored in the battery directly. The study also does not retract chargers when the power source is interrupted. In this study, the charger design is based on a 170 volt for 120V AC input and 311 volts for 220 volt AC input. Also, the resistors in the project ensure a little current flow within the circuit, thus prevents the capacitor from being overcharged. In this study, the result of the project revealed that cell phone charging can be optimized to allow fast charging, safe charging to prevent IC from blowing up due to inefficient current resistors and prevention of overcharging of battery in cell phones. It was, therefore, recommended that local technicians or physicists can engage in the production of cell phone battery chargers to earn a living and reduce the cost of importation....Preview Download Preview +Other Science Technology project topics and materials you might be interested in»Design and construction of cell phone charger»Bacteriological qualities of food thickener deuterium microcarpum (ofor) and brachystegia eurcycoma (achi) sold in Owerri main market»Physiochemical assessment of soil samples from Nwambe Reserve Forest, Ndubia Igagu Izzi L.G.A, Ebonyi State.»Obstacle detection robot with ultrasonic sensor»Antitrypanosomal activity of ethanol extract of Tridax Procumbent leaf and whole flower on T.
