The study is designed to find out how objective the Pointer Newspaper discharges its duty in the light of government ownership and control. Descriptive survey research method was employed in the data presentation using simple percentage. The questionnaire is the instrument for data collection. From the research findings it is observed that government ownership and control of Pointer Newspaper affects news judgment and people do not believe on print media owned by the government.
