The aim and objective of this long essay, therefore, is to bring to the fore the cause of the surge in this trend as it portends to us a people: Using the literary and historical research method, the study employs the use of journals, magazines, books and internet materials. The study reveals that nudity in Nollywood movies does not fully reflect the African society thereby lacking African cultural aesthetics.
