An investigation into public private partnership in Nigeria health care delivery - University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin Department: Health Information Management By: iamjahmeyou Project ID: 4531 Rating: (3.2) votes: 11Rate this project12345 Price:₦3000 Get the Complete MaterialAbstractThis study intends to find out the opinion of the public on the effect/impart of PPP in Nigeria's health care delivery system, to determine its usefulness, to determine the level of awareness and involvement of the public toward the PPP. The researcher used a cross-sectional survey to evaluate the level and effect of PPP participation in the health sector using NHIS as a key practical example. The study population was 100 respondents among which are medical workers, civil servants, health consumers both public and private individuals using quota sampling techniques. The instrument used for this study is a close-ended questionnaire base on Yes or No answer. The questionnaires were self-administered to the respondents. The finding revealed that Male respondents were 44(45.8%) as against Female respondents who are 52 (54.2%) most of whom are married (72.9%), only 25% are single as against 2% that are others. Most of the respondents are professionals HND/Degree, NCE/ND, in the range of 33.3%, 37.5% and 27.1% respectively only 2.1% respondents are secondary graduate. However, most of the respondents are aware of PPP programme 97.9% and opinion that it is a laudable and good 93.7% while only 4.2% disagreed with the programme. 100 respondents agreed that every aspect of Nigerian socio-economic sectors should be managed by PPP.
