The ultimate objective of this study is to critically examine the impacts and roles which consumer co-operative play in promoting the socio-economic condition of people of Nkwere local government area of Imo state. Total population of 69 was chosen and a sample size of 58 was selected. A survey research was used for this study, research questions were distributed and some were used. The questionnaires were analyzed and converted to percentages. Based on the data collected, some deductions were made.
