The study utilized a sample of 200 parents were selected from various locations, to which questionnaires were administered to obtain the necessary data needed for the study. The data were evaluated using the percentage and chi-square test of independence where the results revealed that there are some significant factors that encourage the incidence of girl-child trafficking as well as there exist adverse effects of the incidence on the victims in Nigeria. The study concluded that there is a significant effect of trafficking on the girl– child education in Nigeria which is basically the reduction of the learning objectives and discontinuation of education among victims.
