The aim of the study is to assess the infestation of tree plant species by insect pests in Kano Zoological Garden. Stratified sampling method was used when carrying the study and use of pesticides spray and visual inspection were applied when collecting samples. Percentage of occurrence of the insect species and infested trees are obtained in Kano Zoological Garden.
