Abstract
The topic of this research is the impact of human resources management on employees’ performance in organizations. Human resources management focused on several important practices such as human resource planning, recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation, performance management and employee relations, which in turn, can positively impact organizational performance. These practices are expected to enhance organizational performance and enable the organization to gain a competitive advantage over others. It facilitates the development of human capital that meets the requirements of business competitive strategy so that organizational goals and mission will be achieved. Human resource management is an integral part of business strategy and the main focus of this strategy is to achieve organizational objectives. The study observed the roles of human resource management on the performance of office managers and others. The study made use of descriptive research design of the survey type. The study was carried out on office managers in Ogun State ministries and the data collected through the use of questionnaires serve as primary. While the secondary sources of data were collected through journals from the internet for the study. The population and the sample size were one hundred but ninety were returned. Simple percentage, mean and chi-square methods were used to analyze the research work. The research findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between human resources management and employees’ performance. It was recommended that effective recruitment and selection attract the right quality and quantity of people, develops the knowledge, skills, and abilities of employees, and retains employees within the organization and that training and management development program should be implemented to enhance the capabilities of both office manager and other employees in organizations. ...
