The effect of substance abuse is still in the increase due to peer pressure or influence in Idah which is as the result environmental, biological and psychological factors. Youth abuse substances which have medical, physical, educational, social and economic implications. Structured questionnaires based on the respondents'' demographical data and variables on causes and effects of substance abuse on health in the study area were used to collect information from fifty-five (55) respondent’s simple frequency and percentages were used to analyze the data.
