The main aim of this study was to investigate the influence of staff appraisal and welfare on the productivity of office managers. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. One hundred and thirty-three (133) office managers were used as the sample size. The sample size was calculated using the Taro Yamene scientific formula. The findings indicated that a substantial proportion of the respondents suggested that the staff appraisal system has helped improve job performance at work. The regular assessment of performance leads to employee motivation. The study recommends that the staff appraisal system is an important factor for employee motivation. Staff appraisal system helps improve employee job performance at work.
