Abstract
This research work looks into the effect of Occupational Mobility, Staff Development and Job Satisfaction on Employee’s productivity in an organization with University Press PLC, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria as a case study. The study examines the causes and effects of occupational mobility, staff development and job satisfaction among office professionals. The theoretical basis for the study will be done through the review of related literature from textbooks, journals, periodic, conference papers, Internet. A set of questionnaires will be used as an instrument for data collection and Data will be analyzed using simple percentage and statistical tables. The research is set to identify the high rate of occupational mobility among office professionals which relates to staff development and job satisfaction among employees. Thus the study will make findings, conclusion and recommends among others that organizations should ensure that they make office professionals feel secure with their job by giving them permanent appointments rather than contract engagement as well as making deliberate provisions to give recognition to the contribution of office professionals to the organization such as awards and accelerated promotions. Further recommendations will also be drawn from findings towards the management, employees and others....
