Some of the objectives like the reason for the establishment of the capital market, the modes of operation were highlighted in this research work. To accomplish the study, a well-structured questionnaire and interview were used in data collection. On the data analysis, a chi-square with the degree of freedom (df) as 2 and level of significance formed the analysis carried out, it was observed that the calculated value was 5.99% for hypothesis, the calculated value was 8.6094. Hence the table value was 5.991. It summarises that the calculated value is greater than the table value in respect to the questionnaire. The alternative hypothesis was accepted meaning that the Nigerian stock exchange has played a significant role in the mobilization of capital to industries. The following recommendations were made on the basis of the above findings. Diversification of their offices so as to mobilize more capital.
