The aim of the study is to determine whether the number of vehicular movements into Federal Polytechnic Nekede for the period of 30 days follows a Poisson distribution. The data used in this study were obtained from a primary source. The data collected were analysed using Chi-square tests. The results obtained using Chi-square Goodness of fit test revealed that the number of vehicular movements into Federal Polytechnic Nekede for the period of 30 days follow a Poisson distribution and on average, the number of vehicular movements within Federal Polytechnic Nekede for the period of 30 days is 4.53.
