So the purpose of this study is to find out what bibliotherapy is all about and the extent students at library and information science is making use of it. In this study, the main findings include the extent they are making use of it, the type of book they use, the patient’s response to bibliotherapy. Whether serving the mentally handicapped patients require special training. Finally, some problems that confront the practice of bibliotherapy in the survey use of books were identified which include lack of bibliotherapists.
