It also informed the health officers to identify the impact of auditing the services of health information. Among the objectives is to determine the medical audit of health information practices in University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. Furthermore, to identify if medical audit of health information services have any influence on quality healthcare delivery and to determine the impact of medical audit of health information service on quality healthcare delivery, to identify the factors militating against an effective medical audit of health information service in health care delivery system and to determine probable measures in improving medical audit of health information service. Many medical and allied records were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample 100 staff of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara state. Questionnaire is the instrument used to analyze the data, 100 questionnaires were distributed out of which 89 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that the medical audit of health information could have a positive response on the service delivered to the patients this will eventually reduce the incidence of the consequence of care outcome.
