It also informed the health officers on the role of health workers in the hospital in the management of quality data needed for decision making. Among the objectives is to the perception of health information management welfare on the quality of data obtain through the use of hospital care. Furthermore, examine the problem and prospect of the collecting of quality data with hospital care in the health information management department in university of Ilorin teaching hospital and to ensure the impact of the collecting of quality data through hospital care on the quality of health care service delivery in University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample 128 staff of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 50 questionnaires were distributed out of which 50 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that further studies should be carried out in other to strengthen my argument on the evaluation of collected quality data with hospital care in the hospital, which will enhance the quality of provision to both health providers and patients, as well as efficiency, and effectiveness of the hospital management.
