The study was set in the university of Ilorin teaching hospital Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria. It consists of a descriptive study using questionnaires that involve a convenient simple random sampling, 200 questionnaires were distributed. However, 85 questionnaires were returned by the health workers and 80 by patients. Patients in GOPD, SOPD AND NHIS were the major target and they were guided into the questionnaire both the literate and illiterate. Descriptive statistic was used to describe the studied population and their response to the questionnaire. Data presentation was done with the aid of tables and the discussions of findings that show that there exists a strong relationship between health workers and patients in the university of Ilorin teaching hospital.
