The data for the research work was collected by the researcher through the use of questionnaires which the result was represented in a bar chart and pie chart. The chi-square hypothesis was used for the estimation of the students' average weekly expenditure on drinking and smoking. It was observed that the average weekly expenditure on alcohol is significantly different and higher than that of smoking.
