It identified the entrepreneurial skills of Quantity Surveying practitioners in Abuja, studied the factors affecting the adoption of entrepreneurial skills among Quantity Surveying practitioners in Nigeria and determined the effect of entrepreneur skills of Quantity Surveyors on the service delivery of their firms. Data were obtained through questionnaires administered to 24 Quantity Surveyors working in Abuja, selected through random and sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using frequency counts, percentiles and mean ranking. The study noted that Quantity Surveyors practicing in Abuja are satisfactorily utilizing all identified entrepreneurial skills, however, the national economic climate, Government policies and poor technological capacity are strong factors inhibiting the effective utilization of the identified entrepreneurial skills. The study, therefore, recommended that Quantity Surveying firms in Abuja should key into the implementation of the identified entrepreneurial skills in their operations to increase their work performance. The government is also advised to create an enabling environment to encourage the growth and development of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs). ...Preview Download Preview +Other Quantity Survey project topics and materials you might be interested in»An examination of the role of value engineering analysis in the construction industry»Assessment of factors influencing time performance of building projects in Nigeria construction industry»The impact of interim valuation-certificate in construction project delivery»Involvement of quantity surveyor in railway construction project cost in the Nigerian railway corporation, Niger state»Risk management practice in construction project (a case study of Ebonyi state)»Appraisal of cost management practices in the delivery of capital projects in Nigeria»Assessment of the environmental impact of construction works»An assessment of the participation of female quantity surveyor in professional practice in Bida and Minna areas of Niger state»Productivity improvement of projects in the Nigerian construction industry»The comparative analysis of recreational facilities for housing estates»Estimating and budgeting a medium scale building project»Taking off processes and preparation of an un-priced bill of quantities»The effect of maintenance cost on the rent of commercial buildings - a case study of some selected buildings in Kaduna state»The effects of existing bid selection on public buildings construction projects in Kaduna state»An appraisal of the effects of government legislations and policies on building development in Nigeria
