In this study chapter one talks about the introduction of small scale businesses. While chapter two deals with the comprehensive study of some related literature as postulated by different authors on small scale businesses.Chapter three talks about research methodology. The population of the study is 58 and 18 was selected. This means an 18 structured questionnaire was developed. Chapter four talk about the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. The result obtained shows that, small scale business serve as an engine for economic development.
