Abstract
The topic of this research work is the need for quality control in a typical manufacturing company with particular reference to Pabod Breweries Ltd, Port Harcourt. This project contains facts of general nature, general application in various forms of establishment be it business or governmental, also in the manufacturing industry on which this research was conducted. The reader of this work will find the analysis very logical because of the relevant information in this work. It will also help any manufacturing company in a logical way to know the right quality materials required, the specification and standardization, selecting the right supplier, proper method of inspection on materials purchased and a host of others which are in line with the production process, increasing of sales, increasing the reputation of the company concerned, etc. The above information will be dealt with in detail in chapter one, which talked about introduction of the research work. Chapter two is concerned with the review of the related literature of the work and chapter three is the research methodology. Finally, chapter four and five discussed about presentation and analysis of data and the summary, conclusion and recommendations made by the researcher.
