The study went ahead to investigate the problems of the personnel department and to identify some factors which militate against the effect of the inefficiency on the staff of the personnel department and the establishments at large. Findings were made using the Imo transport company in Imo state as a case study. The use of questionnaires was administered to workers of the company to prove the existence of these problems.
