The research into the effect of employees’ performance appraisal on productivity and growth of public enterprises. A case study of PHCN Aba, the district was undertaken to find out the usage and relevance of performance appraisal in public enterprises in Nigeria as it is related to the productivity of the employee and the overall growth of the enterprises. The method the researcher uses to gather data for the analysis in questionnaires and interviews. Hypotheses were formulated and chi-square statement test was used to test the hypothesis.
