Individual's contributions and are tracked against employees' performance and individual strengths and weaknesses are identified for future improvements. The objective of the study was to examine the relationship between performance appraisal and employee performance in Federal Inland Revenue Service, Katsina branch. Data was collected through the use of questionnaires. The sample size consists of 82 employees of the organization. Stratified and simple random techniques were used to collect the data. The result of the study suggests that the performance appraisal of the organization is in line with the vision and mission of the organization towards the improvement of employees' performance.
