Questionnaires were used as the research instrument. A total of 60 students and 24 teachers were randomly selected from the sampled schools within the local government. The responses were analyzed using percentage. Each category of the questionnaires was divided into two equal parts and then correlated to ensure its reliability. The study revealed that most of these secondary schools have inadequate Physics teachers as a result of the conditions of service of teaching, low turn out of the physics teaching profession.
