The population of the study was the Twenty(20) practicing office managers from Lokoja Local Government, effort were made in getting the necessary information through questionnaires which were analyzed using tables and percentages. The main finding of the study was that automation in the modern day business world is indispensable in the sense that it increases office managers’ productivity and assists an office manager to work efficiently. The study equally revealed that an office manager should be equipped with both manual and automated equipment in other to be busy all the time.
