One of the most important components of maintaining a child’s health is the promotion of good nutrition and dietary habits, this is because the quality and quantity of nutrition, determined the growth and development of the Children. The community health worker''s roles involved the use of sound knowledge to assess the nutrition status of the children and also to assist parents in providing adequate strategies for the nutritional requirements that enhance children‘s growth. This research work is divided into chapter one, two, three, four and five. The aims of this project are to gain knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and to find out the problem of its acceptance among the nursing mother of the study area, as well as the general public and pregnant women, on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and its associated features in ways they are to understand, accept and put into practice also to mobilize the community by encouraging them supporting them and arousing their interest to get involved in the planning and implementation of exclusive breastfeeding programmes. ...
