The study presents the frequency of sex, age, marital status, educational distribution, occupation and religion of the participants. The study also investigated the availability of statistical data in the local government health authority on Rollback malaria programme. It also established the relationship between malaria and environmental sanitation and the effect of roll back malaria programme on the health status of children. The study further investigated how well local government authority educated the community members on the benefit of Roll back malaria and if the information about the patient were obtained before being given malaria drugs. A questionnaire was used in data collection. Findings from the survey local government authority have statistical data on roll shows back malaria programmer. The study also indicates that environmental sanitation is associated with malaria. As may be expected the study shows that the Roll back malaria programme improves the health of children.
