It informed the health officers on the issues and challenges associated with data sharing in hospitals. Among the objectives is to examine the effective data sharing and dissemination in ABUTH Zaria and to examine the impact of health information management (HIM) professional in data sharing in ABUTH Zaria. Furthermore, to decipher the benefit of data sharing and dissemination in healthcare delivery in ABUTH Zaria. This research uses descriptive survey to sample staff of ABUTH, Zaria, Kaduna State. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 60 questionnaires were distributed out of which 50 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that proper Database Management System (DBMS) can help increase organizational accessibility to data sharing and dissemination and in turn helps the end-users share data quickly and effectively across the organization. And also, a management system helps get quick solutions to database queries, thus making data access, and dissemination faster and more accurate.
