It informed the health officers on the influence of leadership and motivational strategies as it relates to health information management professionals in the hospital. Among the objectives is to identify the factor influencing leadership and motivational strategies in teaching hospital Benin and to identify leadership strategies in the University of Benin teaching hospital Benin. Furthermore, to identify signs and demotivational in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. This research uses descriptive survey to sample staff of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 120 questionnaires were distributed out of which 120 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that the management should endeavor to adopt the appropriate leadership styles that will promote and strengthen the relationship between leaders and their employees in the organization. And the condition of service should be improved through the provision and maintenance of welfare through the provision of adequate facilities needed for effective, health records management and subsequent creation of a good atmosphere of working. Lastly, further research should be carried out on the attribute of a motivational leader in the health sector.
