It informed the health officers on the understanding of students regarding the sporting activities in the school. Among the objectives is to determine the level of participation of student nurses in sports activities at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital in sports activities and to assess student nurses' level of knowledge on sports activities at UITH. Furthermore, to assess the perceived effects of sport activities among student nurses at UITH. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample students of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 100 questionnaires were distributed out of which 91 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that it is ideal for Nurse''s to create a friendly environment for their patients, and also engage their patients in exercise as this will contribute greatly on their health status and prevent diseases such as hypertension and obesity.
